The MA – Human Resource Management programme aims to enable students to progress in any career linked with the management and development of people. Managing and developing human resources is becoming much more complex as we see companies grow their business by entering new markets, expanding by acquisitions and mergers, or restructuring to remain competitive. There is an increasing requirement to integrate personnel from different cultures and organisations, whilst at the same time identifying the potential of employees and developing their skills accordingly. These added complexities make it imperative for companies to seek out personnel who have the appropriate skills and training to successfully manage and develop human resources.

The MA – Human Resource Management is a dual award programme conferred by Emirates Aviation University (EAU) and Coventry University – UK, and recognized by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai. The programme is also accredited by the highly recognised professional HRM body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK.
The effective management and development of human resources is a challenging task in any work organisation. As the pace of technological change increases and organisations develop a greater international focus, the management and development of people in order to adapt to these changing conditions becomes ever more important.
The MA – Human Resource Management equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for career development within existing job roles or for the possibility of career advancement or a change in career direction.

Mode of delivery
Block mode delivery (five days per course) with classes normally held every two months.
