The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Avionics Technology is delivered in collaboration with Coventry University, UK. The one year (Top-Up) is designed for those possessing the equivalent of two to three years of an appropriate bachelor degree.
This programme provides you with the practical training and commercial acumen you will need to succeed in high-technology field of Aviation.
Why enrol on this programme?
Avionics Engineers work in one of the most technologically advanced branches of engineering. They design, construct, test, and maintain aircraft. Working within this field, will give you the chance to conceptualise a project, from the drawing board to planning and implementation.
The paradigm of the programme is skill-based with less focus on theories and more on coursework and applications. You will be taught the intricacies of aircraft avionics systems, the various types of system failure that can occur and the implications of failure. You will be provided with the vital skills needed to work as an applied avionics engineer working for an airline or the military.=
The programme is accredited by theKnowledge and Human Development Authority)KHDA) and approved by the Quality Assurance Agency, UK (QAA).
EAU has a first-rate working relationship with Emirates Airline and other UAE aviation establishments, which offer excellent job opportunities. Our students have gone on to find careers in both avionics design and application and maintenance engineering with aerospace companies, systems suppliers, component manufacturers and service providers.
Not only will students learn comprehensive theory, but EAU will also provide the means to gain practical experience in well-equipped laboratories and workshops as well as hands on experience in a real workplace environment through on job training and internships where applicable.
