Dr Sherif Ahmed has a PhD in Applied Mathematics with more than 30 years of experience in academia.

He has worked in different positions as assistant professor and associate professor. He worked for UAEU (2003-2011) and Heriot Watt University (2012-2021).

He has published many papers in high ranked journals. He has supervised many MSc and PhD students. Dr Sherif Ahmed has a great experience in statistical analysis using SPSS, EViews, R and Python. His research interests are in interdisciplinary areas such as data science, mathematical physics, mathematical finance, and operations management.
