Dr Sevda Ahmadian joined the Emirates Aviation University Postgraduate Centre as a Programme Manager in December 2018. Before devoting her work full time to Emirates Aviation University, she served in several academic positions at various international universities. She has vast teaching experience in pilot training and aviation management subjects.

She achieved a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Moscow Aviation Technology Institution in 2008 and a master’s in aerospace engineering from the University of Putra Malaysia in 2012. Sevda also received the ‘Approval of Management Personnel’ certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, which allowed her to sign a contract with Girne American University (GAU) in Cyprus in 2013. She completed her education by receiving her Ph.D. in Aviation Management from GAU in 2018.
