Emirates Aviation University honours its Graduates
DUBAI, UAE – 12 December 2018 – Emirates Aviation University (EAU) yesterday celebrated its 28th graduating class, honouring more than 175 students. Held under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive Emirates Airline and Group and EAU Chancellor, the graduation ceremony took place at the university’s campus in Dubai Academic City.
The graduating class included Emirates Group employees and family members of current employees of the organization. Together with this year’s number of students, the university has graduated more than 15000 students since its inception in 1991.
“It is great to see all the graduates embark on what I’m sure will be interesting and rewarding careers, I would like to congratulate them for this great achievement and wish them all the success in their fields,” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University.
The graduation was attended by members of EAU Board of Governors from Emirates Group Gary Chapman President Emirates Group Services & dnata; Abdulaziz Al Ali, Executive Vice President of Human Resources; Christoph Mueller, Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, among others. The ceremony was also attended by other members including Dr. Amer Sharif, Vice Chancellor Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Science, and number a of government representatives, families and friends.
EAU remains committed to offering new and industry-relevant programmes. Some of the programmes currently offered by the University include: Master degrees in Aviation Security, Aviation Safety, Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development.
It also offers MBAs in Aviation Management; Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Technology, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Avionics Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management and Applied Business; Diplomas and Higher Diplomas in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Computing Software Development, Business Management and Tourism Management.
