The BSc (Hons) in Air Transport Management provides students with an opportunity to gain an insight into all aspects of air transport management including airline and airport management and aviation strategy, together with a solid foundation in essential business practice.
The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Air Transport Management is a three-year programme delivered in two modes/phases of studies:
Phase/Mode-1 (Year 1 & Year2):
Year 1 and Year2 are taught via live-interactive-online classes that take place during weekends. Students complete 7 modules in Year1 and 6 in Year2 and Year3. Each module takes 4 weeks to complete. This mode of study permits overseas students and/or learners with full-time employment to join the programme.
Phase/Mode-2 (Year 3):
Year 3 is taught in a block mode of 5 consecutive days, that take place every 8 weeks, on campus at EAU. Students complete 6 modules in Year 3. Students may optionally choose to attend classes remotely. Classes are also recorded for future reference. Successfully completing Year 3 will award the learner a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Air Transport Management.
The programme has been designed in line with international standards and aims to provide a high-quality business education with a strong focus on the aviation industry. The curriculum is carefully designed to integrate core business courses with more specialised Air Transport Management courses that focus on topics relevant to aviation, airline and airport management, as shown in the illustrative study plan.

Programme Delivery
You will study 7 modules in Year1 and 6 in Year2 and Year3.
Year 1 and Year2 are taught via live-interactive-online. Each module is allocated four weeks of student efforts. The actual lecturer delivery face-to-face (interactively and online) is during the first 5 days of the four weeks period. The five-days delivery span the weekend (Thursday to Monday). Assessments take place (interactively and online) at the end of week4.
Teaching time: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Dubai time.
Classes are recorded for future students’ reference.
Year 3 is taught in a block mode of 5 consecutive days, that take place every 8 weeks, on campus at EAU. Students may optionally choose to attend classes remotely.
The mode of delivery facilitates minimum disruption for participants in full-time employment
Accreditation
The BSc (Hons) in Air Transport Management is a dual award programme conferred by Emirates Aviation University (EAU) and Coventry University, UK. The EAU award is recognised by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai.
Student Intake
Students may join the programme at the beginning of every new module that starts in Year 1 (see the Course Outline section for further information).
Direct entry to Year3 (as a top-up) is available for those holding the equivalent of an HND degree.
