Extended Diploma in Aviation Operations (previously called ND Aviation Operations) is designed to prepare the learners for the aviation sector that plays a key role in the economy. The aviation industry has grown significantly and continues to do so. It is a major source of employment for an economy and offers career openings in a range of areas, including aircraft handling, aircraft movement, flight operations and passenger services. The aviation sector is key to creating and supporting global connectivity for people, goods and services in all sectors, it is particularly significant in creating the infrastructure for inward and outward tourism.

ED in Aviation Operations give learners the opportunity to make progress in the aviation sector, whether their chosen route is employment, an apprenticeship or university. The qualification is equivalent in size to three A Levels.
Accreditation
The Extended Diploma (ED) in Aviation Operations is a dual award programme conferred by Emirates Aviation University (EAU) and Pearson / BTEC, UK.
Career Prospects
Graduates of the National Diploma in Aviation Operations are equipped with the foundation knowledge and skills with various aviation departments or pursue further study in a relevant field.

Student Intake
Students may join the programme twice in a year: Fall Semester and Spring Semester.
Career Prospects
The program prepares the Learners to progress to a range of job roles in the aviation sector or to progress to higher education or another professional. Various modules taken over a period of two years provide much of the underpinning knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry as well as prepares them well for further education or employment.
The students will study the 4 Core Mandatory units and combination of the optional units to complete the course.
