The Master of Business Administration programme provides students with a balanced insight into the  challenges  of managing businesses. The modern  day manager  needs  to  have  a  broad understanding  of  the  various  functions  within  an  organisation  in  order to effectively meet organisational  goals  and objectives.  In  addition  to  this,  the  rapid  expansion  of  international trade means suppliers, customers and work colleagues are much more likely to work within a multicultural working environment. This in turn, requires a different set of skills to be able to manage both effectively and efficiently.  

The following qualification is also available as an exit award:

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration 

Obtain a PgDip in Business Administration by completing 8 modules of the Master of Business Administration programme.

The  EAU Master of Business Administration is  an  accredited  degree  that  is  recognised  globally  through  its international collaboration. Flexible schedule to meet your convenience: Minimum 1 year to a maximum of 2 years.

Mode of delivery

Block mode delivery of five-days per module. The five-day delivery span the weekend (Thursday to Monday) to facilitate minimum disruption for participants in full-time employment. Each day from 9.00am to 5.00pm (Dubai time).

Module Duration/Assessments

The duration of each face-to-face/online module is five-days only. The assessments (exams and assignments) are taken and/or submitted after 4 weeks.

  • KU1: the local, national and international context within which businesses specific to the concentration of study operate and recognise the international perspectives in strategic management and the affect of globalised markets on competitiveness
  • KU2: theory and practice underpinning the structure, organisation and management of businesses specific to the concentration of study and the relationship between a company’s corporate strategy and its operations
  • KU3: the theories and practice of management, HR, finance and marketing at both a strategic and an operational level within organisations

Minimum Admission Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or
  • Licensed AME/Pilot with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or
  • Higher Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or
  • Any other qualifications/experience subject to review by the Faculty of Postgraduate Centre.

*Notes and remarks:

  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for the program's relevant requirement(s) may be required to complete the EAU entrance exam or a non-credit remedial course.
  • Students who completed their previous qualification in English are exempt from English requirements. Otherwise, students will be required to provide / complete one of the following:
    • IELTS Academic with a minimum score of 6.0
    • TOFEL iBT with a minimum score of 79
    • EAU English Test
    • Complete non-credited Foundation English Course with EAU
