Scholarships & Aid

The Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded only in the first (Fall) semester and is limited to up to ten students in each academic year.

• Only newly admitted full-time students on undergraduate programmes may apply.
• The scholarship covers up to 100% of the tuition fees.
• The scholarship does not cover the registration fee, textbook fees or fees paid to an external partner for dual award programmes and other charges.
• Undergraduate applicants must achieve a minimum cumulative average of 95% in the last year of their secondary education with IELTS 6 academic, or equivalent.
• Postgraduate applicants must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.8/4.0 with IELTS 7 academic at their bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
• Applicants are also expected to demonstrate outstanding personal qualities and the ability to contribute to the University and community.
• Students who are awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship must sustain an excellent academic standing (minimum CGPA of 3.8) throughout their study at EAU to maintain their entitlement for the scholarship.

The financial aid scheme is open for new and returning students with limited financial resources.Application forms are available at the Admissions and Registration Office. Completed application forms must be submitted, with the required supporting documents by the deadline announced prior to the registration starting date for the particular semester. New students must meet the minimum requirement for admission to the programme of choice. Returning students must maintain a good academic standing. The financial aid is granted for one academic year and shall be reviewed on a yearly basis.

Applicants who are employed by or sponsored by specific corporate organisations are eligible for tuition fee discounts. This discount also extends to the employees' spouses and children. To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria and provide the necessary supporting documents (employment letter and proof of relationship) during the registration period at the EAU Accounts Office.
