Assistant Professor, Faculty of Mathematics and Data Science
Dr. Abdulkarim H. Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Data Science, Emirates Aviation University (EAU), Dubai, UAE. Before joining EAU, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Smart Mobility and Logistics, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, one of the top 70 universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2026). His research focuses on numerical optimization, with particular interest in iterative methods for solving large-scale nonlinear equations, unconstrained and vector optimization problems and variational inequality problems. His work finds applications in compressive sensing, robotics and machine learning. Dr. Ibrahim has presented his work at several international conferences, published in reputable WoS-indexed journals and actively serves as a reviewer for leading mathematics journals. He values collaboration, continuous learning and bridging the gap between mathematical theory and real-world applications.
