The Certificate 4 in Aeronautical Engineering provides learners with foundation knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment or further study in Engineering.

The Certificate 4 in Aeronautical Engineering has been designed to provide students with the basic knowledge, understanding and skills to become aircraft technicians. EAU is offering this course as a pathway into the aerospace industry.

This is a High School equivalent vocational qualification, ideal for learners aged 16 years plus who want an alternative learning environment to High School.

The Certificate 4 in Aeronautical Engineering is a dual award programme conferred by Emirates Aviation University and BTEC Pearson, UK. The EAU award is recognised by the National Qualifications Authority (NQA) in the UAE.

Career Prospects

Students graduating from this programme may choose to begin their careers with an airline engineering maintenance facility, aviation maintenance, aviation manufacturing, or engineering services company.

Successful completion of the Certificate 4 in Aeronautical Engineering qualification will also enable you to progress to an applied bachelor program in a relevant field of study.

    Five IGCSE/GCSE/O-level subjects at grade 'C' or above, including Maths and Physics OR
    BTEC Qualification: First Diploma Engineering.
  • Original scores for any of the following - TOEFL Paper Based (500); or TOEFL CBT (173); or TOEFL IBT (61); or IELTS (5); or PTE Academic (36) or sit the Emirates Aviation University's English Language Entry Test.
