The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) n Applied Mechanical Engineering is delivered in collaboration with Coventry University, UK. The one year (Top-Up) is designed for those possessing the equivalent of two to three years of an appropriate bachelor degree.
Why enrol on this programme?
Students will gain a range of essential competencies in areas relevant to their current or intended employment, such as CAD, drafting, engineering design, engineering management, employability skills and project management. Students will learn to use their mathematical and analytical skills to solve real-life problems. They will be equipped with competencies in organizing and analysing information, interacting with computing technology and selecting engineering materials.
The programme is accredited by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority(KHDA) and approved by the Quality Assurance Agency, UK (QAA).
Mechanical engineers are sought-after in all types of industries, such as construction, marine, oil and gas and aerospace. The programme helps learners build a firm foundation for employment. Graduates may choose to pursue a higher education (Master’s and PhD degrees) in several engineering areas.
Not only will students learn comprehensive theory, but EAU will also provide the means to gain practical experience in well-equipped laboratories and workshops as well as hands on experience in a real workplace environment through on job training and internships where applicable.

The BEng (Honours) in Applied Mechanical Engineering – enables you to progress to study at Master’s Level in several Engineering and non-Engineering disciplines.
