The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business with HR Management is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain insights into different aspects of business and human resources management which will provide a solid foundation in essential business and HR practices.
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business with HR Management is a one-year "Top Up" programme offered on a part-time delivery mode that is designed to "top up" the students’ existing vocational qualification (e.g., UAE Higher Diploma, UK Higher National Diploma, Air Transport Pilot License) to a bachelor's degree. It has been designed in line with international standards and aims to provide a high-quality business and HR education. The curriculum is carefully designed to integrate core business courses with specialised HR courses as detailed in the illustrative study plan.
Students will gain understanding of how the business sector operates, the challenges involved in managing a business and HR functions, and what makes them successful. Students will study a variety of core business and HR courses such as global logistics, project management, business strategy, employment law, and talent management. The final module is an extensive research project.
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business with HR Management award is conferred by Emirates Aviation University and Coventry University, UK. The EAU award is recognized by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business with HR Management are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to be prepared for employment within various business sectors, particularly in human resources roles.
The part-time delivery mode includes 6 courses delivered over a period of one year. The courses will be completed independently, one course every two months in 5 consecutive day blocks of delivery over 40 hours.
