The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Aircraft Maintenance is delivered in collaboration with Coventry University, UK. The two year (part time) programme is designed to provide a higher education to those possessing the equivalent of an EASA or GCAA Certificate of Recognition B1/B2. The curriculum is specifically designed to extend knowledge in areas of aircraft safety, and quality management that are relevant to all maintenance engineers.
Why enrol on this programme?
This programme gives aircraft maintenance engineers, holders of a GCAA / EASA category B1/B2 licence or equivalent, the opportunity to develop their career and consolidate their professional experience by gaining an internationally recognised academic award in a maximum of 24 months (part time) without having to take extensive time off work.
The programme gives maintenance engineers the opportunity to work in areas such as technical services, support services, maintenance planning and product development.
Qualification
Graduates of this programme will receive a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Aircraft Maintenance from Coventry University, UK (Ranked No. 12 UK University*) recognised by KHDA, UAE. The programme is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Engineering Society, RAeS, UK. This enables graduate of this programme to qualify for the Status of CEng, Chartered Engineer and/or IEng, Incorporated Engineer in their discipline.
