Dr Hannah Al Ali is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics and Dean of the School of Mathematics and Data Science. Dr Al Ali achieved her bachelor’s degree at Brunel University London, UK and continued to study whilst working. She has been a lecturer at EAU for several years whilst studying for her PhD with Coventry University, UK. Dr Al Ali’s research focuses on mathematical modelling of diabetes and using mathematical and data science approaches to solve problems in the aviation industry. As part of Academic Citizenship, she is a member of the board for Dubai English Speaking School and College (DESSC). Dr Al Ali was selected to be a trustee on this board as a result of her passion and contribution to education in the UAE.
