Crystal Ioannou is an Assistant Professor of Human Factors in Emirates Aviation University. She hold a bachelor of Humanities from The University of Cyprus, Msc of Science and Technology in Aviation (Aviation Safety) from The University of New South Wales and a PhD from Coventry University. She specializes in the Human Factors in Safety Management Systems and provides consultations to aviation organizations. Her research field includes Human Factors, Safety Management Systems, safety management practices influencing performance of SMSs, safety culture, national, culture, reporting systems.
