Dr. Mojtaba Theo Ammari is a globally recognised Associate Professor in Mathematics and Data Sciences, with over 25 years of distinguished experience in teaching, learning, assessment, and senior academic leadership across international higher education. A visionary in academic development, Dr. Ammari is renowned for pioneering authentic curriculum design, transformative assessment strategies, and future-focused skills development.
During his tenure at the University of Sunderland in London, Dr. Ammari led the design and implementation of the groundbreaking Assessment Sprint project in response to the rise of Generative AI. This initiative became a cornerstone of a national flagship programme in the UK, earning him a prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Fellow Award and setting new benchmarks for AI-aligned education.
An influential and internationally acclaimed keynote speaker, Dr. Ammari has delivered impactful addresses at leading conferences in the UK, Turkey, Oman, China, Kazakhstan, and the UAE, shaping academic discourse worldwide.
