Dr Mostafa Kamil is currently an Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator of the Software Engineering programme in the Faculty of Mathematics and Data Science. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Communications Engineering from Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, and his professional teaching areas are computer science, software engineering, and communications engineering.

Dr Mostafa is a member of several university committees, such as Curriculum Development Committee, Academic Quality Assurance Committee, Accreditation Committee, and Planning Committee. His research interest includes Communications Systems, Internet of things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science.
