Dr. Anju Anna Jacob is an Assistant Professor in Faculty of Engineering at Emirates Aviation University. She is an EASA CAR147 & GCAA CAR147 authorized Instructor. She has received her Doctoral degree in ‘Band Gap Engineering in Zinc Oxide and Fabrication of Visible Photodetectors’ with School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). Preceding her PhD, she had completed Master degree (M.Tech) in Nanotechnology from VIT, India. Her research vertical pertains to Nanotechnology, Semiconductors, Optoelectronics, Photovoltaics, Thin films. She has been publishing her research findings in highly reputed international journals like RSC Advances and Journal of Alloys and Compounds. For her contributions in research, she has also received research awards from VIT, Vellore during four consecutive years from 2015. Prior to joining EAU she had served as engineering faculty at University of Bolton, RAK and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai.
