Dr Elham Tolouei is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at EAU. She is specialised in experimental fluid dynamics and aerodynamics of airplane wing and winglets, wind turbines and biological fluid flows. She is Programme Coordinator of School of Engineering. She has finished her PhD in Mechanical Engineering – Biomechanics, from Monash University, Australia in 2012. She received a Master of Science-Aerodynamics and a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic University. Prior joining to EAU, Dr Elham worked as a Lecture in Monash University; and a Laboratory Demonstrator in Fluids Laboratory for Aeronautical and Industrial Research (FLAIR) group, Monash University. She worked as a project supervisor in Biological Fluid Flow and Wind Tunnel labs to manage and supervise all laboratory activities to assist faculties and teaching subjects and to perform experimental research. She also worked as a Senior Wind Engineer in MEL Consultants Pty Ltd (MEL). She worked on numerous projects such as experimentally measuring the flow around high-rise buildings.
